Frederick W. Davison
President
Since founding the company in 1985, Mr. Davison has been and continues to be the leading architect of the firm’s software products. Providing superior software solutions and exceptional customer support has been his goal for the company from day one, and continues to be the top priority for his team. Mr. Davison has a BS degree in Finance and Economics from Boston University, and an MS/MBA degree, also from Boston University. After obtaining his masters degree, Mr. Davison worked as an MIS consultant with Arthur Andersen & Company, where he was involved in the development of an automated provisioning system for Bath Iron Works in Bath, Maine. Mr. Davison then worked as a Senior Business Systems Analyst with Bay State Health Care, where he took a lead role in the development of a customized claims processing system. Prior to starting the company, Mr. Davison worked independently as an information systems consultant, where he was involved in the development of application software for a variety of industries including retail and wholesale distribution, manufacturing and armored car services.
Scott Hastings
Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Hastings has an extensive history in the application software field, both as a producer and user of software for the manufacturing, distribution and retail industries. He has experience in building and growing organizations in both small, emerging companies and large, complex corporations. Previously, he was the CIO and Vice President of Logistics for Lids Corporation, a 478-store retailer of headwear. During his tenure at Lids, he worked closely with the CEO to grow the firm. Prior to Lids, he worked for ten years at Reebok International in the systems, distribution and logistics areas, lastly in the position of Director of Distribution for North America. Prior to that, he spent eight years as the Director of Programming Services at Distribution Management Systems, a software vendor serving the distribution industry.
Craig Babigian
Executive Vice President
Mr. Babigian joined F.W. Davison in 1993, and helped cultivate the software family of products now known as HRPyramid. Prior to F.W. Davison & Company, he was the Controller for a multi-state service company. He also consulted for a Canadian company that had purchased a Boston-based health care laundry. Mr. Babigian is an active member of NAPEO and the Massachusetts Technology Council. Mr. Babigian holds a BS in Accounting from Bentley College.
Adam Van Beek
Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Van Beek joined F.W. Davison & Company as Chief Technology Officer in 2011. Prior to joining F.W. Davison, Adam spent ten years at IBM in the field architecting and implementing large scale data integration and data quality projects. He has extensive experience in data integration, data quality, metadata management and data governance across many verticals. Prior to IBM, he spent four years performing advance technical support and consulting for customers around the world. Adam holds a B.S. in Business Information Systems from the University of Massachusetts.
Robert Clarke
Client Services Director
Mr. Clarke joined F.W. Davison in 2006, and currently oversees the company’s customer support activities as the Client Services Director. Previously, Mr. Clarke was Controller at Employer Solutions Group (Utah), where he was instrumental in the implementation of HRPyramid in 1999, as well as a comprehensive budgeting system. Other prior positions he has held include two years as Executive Vice President-Finance of a small research and development company, twelve years as an Accounting Manager in the health care industry, and five years in the insurance industry. Mr. Clarke holds a B.S. in Accounting from Utah State University.
Gary Berna
Software Engineering Manager
Mr. Berna joined the F.W. Davison programming team in 2000 to assist with development of the ScorPEO and HRPyramid applications. He worked on the implementation of the ASP model, which now services nearly half our customers. Mr. Berna’s prior work experience includes independent IT consulting & programming, medical software developer, IT Director - International Fund for Animal Welfare, IT Director - Jordan Hospital. His education includes B.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts.
Ben Souther
Web Services Engineering Manager
Mr. Souther joined the Company in 2002 to help design and develop HRPyramid Web Edition, and to explore and develop strategies for expanding access to HRPyramid via web services and other technologies. In July of 2008, he took over management of all web and web service related development. Prior to working with F.W. Davison, he was a web developer / systems analyst for a consulting firm and a systems manager / web developer for a distribution firm.
Deana Collins Morgan
Marketing and Technical Communications Manager
Ms. Morgan has been with the Company since 1996. She currently oversees the development of technical user documentation; advertising, marketing and administrative communications; corporate event management; and the company’s corporate marketing and customer web sites. Ms. Morgan studied at Brigham Young University in Utah, and holds a B.A. degree in English from the University of Massachusetts. She is a senior member of the Society of Technical Communication (STC), from which she is certified in Technical Communications Management and Instructional Design for E-Learning. Previous work experience includes positions at Boston Scientific, New England Sports Network (NESN), and The Boston Globe.
Louis Perez
Systems Administrator
Mr. Perez joined the F.W. Davison team in January of 2005. Mr. Perez has modernized the internal network infrastructure and implemented new customer support standards to the Company’s application and technical support teams. He has spent the past ten years managing both small and large support teams in various other organizations.
