FPC/CPP Certification
F.W. Davison and Company is an APA Approved Provider of payroll education. Certain educational sessions entitle participants to earn recertification credit hours (RCH) towards their Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certifiied Payroll Professional (CPP) certification. Courses that have been preapproved appear with corresponding course numbers, below.
PEO/ASO Client Accounting
Learn how to set up accounting templates for your clients who would like to import payroll entries from HRPyramid into their own accounting systems. This training will give you the necessary tools to create a template for either your PEO or ASO payroll client based on their general ledger chart of accounts. Once the template is created, you can produce reports and import files that can be sent to your client to streamline their accounting entry process for the payroll services you provide them.

PTO Setup and Calculations
One of the continual challenges for many HRPyramid users is converting a client's paid-time-off plan to an electronic form, particularly if the client has relied on manual or spreadsheet calculations in the past. This session reviews common obstacles in setting up PTO plans. A variety of PTO plans and types will be presented, along with various setting combinations. Payroll will be processed so that users can see the results of the various setups in action. The instructor will also review how to make adjustments to employee records to facilitate corrections and fine-tuning.

Year-To-Date Import Processing for ASO Clients
Taking on a new ASO client is typically more of a challenge since it is necessary to convert year-to-date (YTD) wage and tax information. The Standard Conversion tool was developed to handle this requirement. This session will provide an overview of the conversion process including a number of tips and techniques to help make taking on an ASO a smooth process.
